Hi! This is Ana from PinBox
I came to Canada in 2023 as a war refugee from Ukraine and ex-illustrator, carrying just a suitcase and a head full of hope. Ottawa became my new home, and not long after, my launchpad. In May 2024, with support from my family and amazing European partners, I officially started PINBOX—a small business with a big heart.
Starting from scratch in a new country wasn’t easy (spoiler alert: there were tears, triumphs, and a lot of late-night packing). But thanks to the incredible support from the Canadian community, my dream started taking shape. From selling my first pins at local markets to being accepted into the Immigrant Entrepreneur Canada Summer Retail Incubator and joining the Ottawa Board of Trade—this journey has been a whirlwind of gratitude and growth.
Today, PINBOX proudly partners with over 20 small and big businesses across Canada (and beyond), helping them add a little magic to their shelves. I also collaborate with local non-profits, because giving back is at the heart of what I do.
